Pet Portraits by Himanshi
Sono Himanshi e sono un ritrattista di animali domestici. Lavoro principalmente con matite colorate e pastelli, e talvolta grafite su richiesta.
Cresciuto in una piccola città, da bambino non ho mai avuto animali domestici e l'interazione con gli animali mi è venuta lentamente rispetto alla maggior parte degli altri. La maggior parte dei miei primi ricordi viene dai cani e gatti randagi che visitavano la mia casa e restavano con noi per alcuni giorni prima di partire per le proprie avventure. I miei disegni e dipinti sono stati un altro modo per me di entrare in contatto e lo faccio professionalmente da alcuni anni ormai. Le storie e le conversazioni con i miei clienti che ne derivano sono un aspetto bellissimo che non mi aspettavo.

"Here's the picture I had commissioned for my daughter. This is her cat Sebastian whom she raised since he was a kitten, found by my sister Kathy and brought to us from the streets of Pottstown. He is now almost 16 years old. This picture was taken many years ago when he was playing catch on the top of the cat tree.
