Pet Portraits by Himanshi
Jag är Himanshi och jag är en porträttkonstnär. Jag arbetar främst med färgpennor och pasteller, och ibland grafit på begäran.
När jag växte upp i en liten stad, har jag aldrig haft husdjur som barn och interaktion med djur gick långsamt för mig än de flesta. De flesta av mina tidiga minnen kommer från de herrelösa katterna och hundarna som besökte mitt hem och stannade hos oss i några dagar innan de gick till sina egna äventyr. Mina teckningar och målningar har varit ett annat sätt för mig att ansluta och jag har gjort det professionellt i några år nu. Berättelserna och samtalen med mina kunder som följer med dessa är en vacker aspekt som jag inte hade förväntat mig.

"Here's the picture I had commissioned for my daughter. This is her cat Sebastian whom she raised since he was a kitten, found by my sister Kathy and brought to us from the streets of Pottstown. He is now almost 16 years old. This picture was taken many years ago when he was playing catch on the top of the cat tree.
