Please read these before commissioning a portrait!

1. I require a non-refundable 50% deposit (25% at the time of booking and 25% just before I begin the drawing) to be paid before starting on your pet’s portrait. The remaining (50% + shipping charges) will be asked after I am finished, you have approved, and it’s ready to ship!

 

 2. I accept all payments through PayPal, I also accept a bank transfer but it is not recommended as you might end up paying international transfer fees to your bank. (Paypal also accepts payments without having to make an account, using your debit or credit card).

 

3. I ship portaits using DHL express shipping in a secure flat box, which takes about 5-7 days anywhere in the world. There is also a cheaper and slower option for shipping, that is available on request.

 

4. After it being approved by you and shipped, returns aren’t possible. It’s a custom piece made only for you, so i can’t offer returns.

 

5. I offer three free revisions during the progress stage, and I will send you regular pictures during various stages. For more than three revisions, any subsequent one will be charged on an hourly basis at $25 an hour. After it’s finished, the revisions get more complex so please give me feedback during the progress shots, i want to create something you love seeing in your home! If the piece must be restarted under your wishes, the deposit must be repaid. Additionally, the time frame for completion will be extended.

6. In the event that the client does not like the result, three free revisions are possible and I send regular updates in progress for your input so that there are no surprises. In the unlikely event the client still does not want it at the end (so far this has never happened!), the deposit is non-refundable and I reserve the right to sell the original artwork, or make prints. 

 

7. I reserve all the copyrights to my work, all finished and unfinished progress photos. They are for your private use and not to be sold in any shape or form (i.e. prints, etc).

 

8. Last but not least - I reserve the right to use the progress shots/finished artwork for promotional use on digital platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook etc) or printed form (thank you cards, or similar things). I also reserve the right to use the images on printed products (i.e. prints) wherever it is appropriate. I may also use customer e-mails as testimonials on my website or facebook page.
